I sit here on this Thursday night, exhausted. Shan is in the lounge and can hardly keep her eyes open.
It has been an incredible week.
We have had Shan's cousins and their other halves over for a braai on Monday night which turned into a wood burning fest on our deck.
Wednesday saw our long lost friend Roy, knocking a our door, smiling from ear to ear and looking well. Supper plans found us at "That Italian Place" for an wonderful chow (as usual). After much chin wagging and catching up, we ended up at Chris and Mich for a movie until some stupid hour, for a school night.
All this after taking full advantage of four days of perfect sea conditions diving with my mate Brett. To be totally honest, I think that is why I am so bushed.
Now it sounds like I am moaning, but I am truly thankful for this blessed life we live. Also the gaining the ability to say "we are having some quiet family time" is probably one of the most valuable lessons I have learnt to date. We all have the right to say "no".

Hi darling
Hope that you receive this note. Haven't a clue what I'm doing so ....
Love you
Denene
Well done mom. You are such a techno-junkie.
Love you lots
Hello darling
Don't see my last message to you so I'm obviously not such a tachno-junkie. We're off to Pta tomorrow to see little Hannah Meghan. I have a bit of a cold so I'll stay far away from her. Her granny can't wait to hold her - have never seen my sister so excited.
hope Shannon has a lovely birthday tomorrow. Will phone in the morning.
Love you
Denene
